奈良井駅信号機器室 / Railway Machine Building in Narai Station
長野県塩尻市に位置する、伝統的建造物群保存エリア。当時繁栄した宿場町の街並みが残されており、多雪地域ではあるが、緩勾配ダークブラウン色の屋根が景観を形成している。
用途上、コンクリートで建設する必要があったが、周囲の伝統的な木造建築群に合わせ、外壁に意匠型枠を採用することで下見板形状を転写した。
This area of traditional buildings preservation is located in Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture. Although it is located in a heavy snowfall area, the gently sloping and dark brown roofs form a beautiful landscape.
It was necessary to construct the building with concrete material in order to keep good strength. But the design concrete formwork on exterior wall made the “clapboard” shape to match the surrounding traditional wooden buildings.
